When I was a child. many, many years ago, my mother always bought those brown coconuts to make hundreds of special (decorated) Easter eggs for our baskets. I know she must have spent many long hours while we were at school grating all that coconut, melting the chocolate, and decorating with our names, borders, flowers, etc. We would get up early before going to the early Easter Service to hunt for the baskets she’d hidden. They also contained other candies, hard boiled eggs and usually a big chocolate bunny. But back then, those items weren’t contaminated with all the toxic chemicals like today.

I’m going to get a brown coconut or two this Sat. when we go shopping and experiment with the things you suggest. I love the coconut water – mmmmm. Thank you for offering this.
