I haven’t had an allergy test done, but I am right there with you about wanting to get one. One good thing about the Whole30 is that it made me realize just how much food affects your body. The hard part is narrowing down which food is really messing with you. I've heard that allergy tests can have a lot of false positives and that they are a little painful. But, just like you, I think it will help me trim down the list and hopefully find a more definitive answer. It may help to go to the doctor with a list of what I'm most suspicious of so that it is not a needle in a haystack. Also, if it comes back that I'm allergic to everything that could be a sign of a "leaky gut." It is definitely something I'm going to look into once I get back from all my work travels. Keep me updated if you decide to have it done. I loved to hear about the process and whether or not it works out for you.

Quick question for you: have you ever gotten a food allergy test at the doctor's? (Not sure if you've already mentioned it in a past post). It's just that I'm thinking about asking my doctor for one. I also started the Whole30 to see how my body reacts to food allergies but I realized yesterday that it's slowly driving me insane. I'm analyzing every bump and creak my body makes. Example: Started to get really bad acid reflux after I started the Whole30. Thought it was nuts so I cut them out. Still have it. Have never had it before. So then I stopped doing the Whole30 for a day and got a migraine. Could it be from the dairy I ate? Or maybe it's just seasonal allergies...anyway you get my point. Thinking maybe a food allergy test can at least point me in the right direction. Just wanted to know your thoughts.
