I have now completed Days 18-20 of Whole30. These were the days I was traveling for work so I did not do any cooking. I tried my best to stay on the Whole30 Plan and it worked out well. When dinning out at restaurants I had to ask how the food was prepared (oils, seasonings, etc.) but I was able to find things that I could eat. This was the first time I came back from traveling and had lost weight. Normally even if I eat low carb when I’m traveling I still come back with weight gain. I kept my food choices simple so I did not have an allergic reaction. I also brought pouches of salmon and tuna with me to eat while I was in the airport and for breakfast since I cannot eat eggs.
My meals for Day 18 were:
Breakfast: Chicken Sausage and “Apples”
Lunch: Leftover Pumpkin Chili over Turnip Fries (My flight was not until later)
Snack: Tuna, carrots and cucumbers (I was switch time zones so I needed a larger snack)
Snack: Tuna, carrots and cucumbers (I was switch time zones so I needed a larger snack)
Dinner: Burger with side salad (oil and vinegar)
My meals for Day 19 were:
Breakfast: Tuna with cucumber and carrots
Lunch: Sashimi (minus the rice) no veggies (they were all covered in sauce)
Snack: Cucumbers and celery
Dinner: Prime Rib with Garlic Spinach
My meals for Day 19 were:
Breakfast: Tuna with cucumber and carrots
Lunch: Salmon with cucumber and carrots
Dinner: Tuna with cucumber and carrots
So the last day was pretty boring, but I was flying most of the day and it was convenient. The plan was to keep it simple so I could lose any bloat I was holding. It definitely worked! I don’t have a recipe for you today, but check back tomorrow. The picture was my view at dinner on Day 19 at Laguna Beach.
