Throughout life there are many ups and downs. The trials present themselves in all areas of our lives: relationships, work, health, starting a family, finding a purpose, waiting for answers, loss of a loved one, and so on. It’s during times like these that we have a really desire for comfort and peace. Last week marked the one year anniversary of the death of my father and got my thinking about some of the things they helped me get through that time. I remember being so completely shocked when it happened and needing lots of comfort. It can be hard to accept change, no matter what it is, and the added stress on our emotional health can start to affect our physical health. Essential oils for comfort and peace have been a huge part of my emotional growth throughout the last year, specially because after some time I have been using also Observer’s hemp flower along with the oils and I can definitely see a huge difference in my life. If you are looking for the best ooze dab pen product on slyng.com you can find a range of the best smoking accessory. There are many different types of CBD products available these days, the budpop.com has top reviewed ones, and the cost of these products can vary based on a range of factors. You can then look forward to enjoying the many benefits that CBD and the best kratom vendors products can offer such as enhanced sleep, lower anxiety levels, and increased relaxation. When you purchase products such as cannabis online from cannablossom.co you can look forward to a variety of benefits. You can also shop wide selection of vapes online from Geek Bar to Vaper Gate.

It’s important to be able to process through the change, accept it, and move forward in our lives before it starts to affect our our physical health so is important to deal with stress and products like bulk weed canada can really help us in this area to remain healthy. But how do we make it through when we’re in the middle of the trial? For me, first I turn to the Bible and my faith to help me remember that all experiences provide a chance to learn/reevaluate and most importantly that I’m not alone through the process. Secondly, I like to have a tool to help process through the emotions and that tool is essential oils for comfort and peace. Many people also use cbd oils that are more effective, visit this page to learn more information.

Essential oils don’t magically fix everything according to medical intuitive healers, they gently work through the emotions, process, accept, and move forward through the change.

How To Use Essential Oils for Comfort and Peace

When using essential oils for peace and comfort, I prefer to diffuse or inhale the essential oils. Smelling the essential oils helps reach the olfactory receptors and limbic system, the emotional and memory center of the brain, so the essential oils encourage adjustment of emotions. Scents and emotions are so tightly connected and I’m sure you’ve experienced this…how does smelling freshly baked chocolate chip cookies make you feel? I usually put my essential oil(s) of choice in my cold air diffuser (my Dewdrop diffuser, Aria diffuser, or Bamboo diffuser) with distilled water and allow the scent of the oils to disperse through the room. It’s important to make sure the essential oils aren’t heated as this can change the chemical constituents in the oil. If I’m in a hurry, I’ll put a drop of oil in my hand, rub my hands together, cup my hands over my nose and mouth, and then breathe deeply to inhale the scent of the oil. If you are looking for CBD products to help you with pain or insomnia, visit https://pacificgreens.co/.

Essential Oils for Comfort and Peace

Marjoram: About a week after my father died I ran a scan on my mother for essential oils and Marjoram and Cypress came up. At first I thought they were just for soothing sore muscles (she was on the treadmill earlier that day), but after reading some of resources for emotions I learned that Marjoram was historically used as a “funeral herb” and very helpful when combined with Cypress. Marjoram helps support occasional feelings of isolation and being unsupported. It also helps with comfort, contentment, and compassion.

Cypress: Encourages the process of accepting changes and moving on. Cypress is a comfort to those in bereavement–used for moving forward and comforting those left behind. It also helps lift fears that block us from change and brings about feelings of transition, transformation, and renewal. Embrace new opportunities with judi bola online, adding excitement to moments of growth.

Juniper: Helps us get past occasional feelings of being unsupported and misunderstood. Juniper helps us break though stagnation, lifts our fear of failure, and harness our will-power. It helps us learn the lessons we need to and clear obstacles in our path. Juniper helps fortify, unburden, and empower.

Myrtle: Helps us process the truth and offer forgiveness. Myrtle gives support and comfort to the feelings of being unsupported. Myrtle is an everlasting sign of God’s power and love (Isaiah 55:13).

Humility Blend: Humility blend is a mixture of Coriander, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Geranium, Melissa, Frankincense, Spikenard, Myrrh, Rose, and Neroli essential oils. Humility blend helps us to surrender and bring about feelings of stability. It replaces low spirits with acceptance and compassion to help us move forward in life. Humility blend brings stillness and peace to ease sorrow and grief and also helps bring gentle comfort from rejection or loss.

When getting started with essential oils, it’s important to consider quality and the brand that you are drawn to you. Pray about it and see which brand of essential oils feels right to you. These are the essential oils I decided on and use for emotional support throughout my daily life.

Apples are in season right now so it’s a perfect time to enjoy a natural dessert of paleo bakes apples. The baked apples have all the flavors of fall in a delicious dessert that you can feel good about feeding to your family and friends. To the north of us there are a lot of apple orchards. I really hope I can fit some time into my schedule this fall to make a trip (it’s a bit of a road trip) to pick some apples. I found an orchard that uses an organic growing processes and it would nice to get local, fresh apples that haven’t sprayed with toxic chemicals. One of my goals over the last few years has been to reduce my exposure to toxic chemicals. That has happened through paying attention to my food sources (buying locally, organically grown) and well as removing conventional cleaning and personal care products (replacing them with DIY options or naturally derived ingredients with essential oils).

I just absolutely love chocolate cake, but when you change your diet it can be hard to recreate a grain free or low carb version. You may remember my Grain Free Chocolate Cake Roll recipe. When I made that recipe the texture of the cake reminded me of sponge cake and I knew I wanted to turn it into a layer cake next. The cake roll can be difficult to keep from breaking so the layer cake option makes it much easier to deal with. The good news is that if you’re watching your carbs, I have included some lower carb options so you can still enjoy the cake. I ended up adding a little flavoring to the cream layer. Since chocolate and orange make a great combination, I made that my flavoring of choice. I used Orange essential oil so that I could get the flavoring without synthetic flavorings and without all the added carbs. But remember, not all essential oils can be added to food. Some essential oils are considered perfume grade only and some may say that they are pure, but really can have synthetic ingredients added to it. Just like with food, it’s so important to know the source of the essential oils and how they are processed. I get my essential oils here.

How’s the weather in your area? It’s really starting to heat up here in South Carolina, so it’s nice to have a cold treat to enjoy on those hot Spring (or what feels like Summer already) days. You’ve probably heard of goji berries before…they were one of those superfood buzz words awhile back. But it’s true, goji berries (or Chinese Wolfberries) have some great benefits. I like to use NingXia Red drink, which is made from goji/Chinese wolfberries, to make popsicles. NingXia Red is naturally sweetened from the berries and stevia and has lots of flavor already built in.

NingXia Red is a powerful antioxidant drink that contains whole Ningxia wolfberry puree—a super blend of blueberry, aronia, cherry, pomegranate, and plum juices, natural stevia extract, grape seed extract, pure vanilla extract, and orange, yuzu, lemon, and tangerine essential oils. Its benefits include support from head to toe, via a whole body nutrient infusion. NingXia Wolfberries have been cherished for centuries for its health, energy, and longevity benefits. Whole Ningxia wolfberries and other nutrient-dense fruit juices make NingXia Red the perfect choice for optimizing wellness. I first tried NingXia Red when I got my essential oil starter kit (set started here). The starter kit came with two packets of NingXia Red to sample. Honestly, I tossed them to the side and had no idea what they were (I was mainly just interested in learning about essential oils themselves). After learning more about the benefits, I decided to give them a try in the form of popsicles. The first time I put the packets directly in the freezer and had easy popsicles, but now I like taking it a step further and adding the cream (or coconut cream) because it adds some healthy fats for satiety and also helps dilute the essential oils even further. NingXia Red is also great served over ice as a drink with some club soda or water.

So what exactly is carob? Carob powder is made from the dried pods of the carob tree and is a substitute for chocolate. It has a rich chocolate like flavor. Chocolate is high in histamines and I am trying to eat a low histamine diet to help control and heal my skin and Rosacea symptoms. When I eat foods high in histamine (strawberries, chocolate, fermented foods, avocado, etc.) it flares up the redness in my face. I love chocolate so it’s nice to have a tasty dessert option that tastes like chocolate, but doesn’t cause the same redness flare ups. If you can eat chocolate feel free to use cocoa powder, but it may need some extra sweetener since carb powder is naturally sweeter than cocoa powder.

Sunday we start the February Oil Pulling Challenge so I wanted to have some easy ways to incorporate oil pulling into the morning routine. Normally I make up a mixture of coconut oil and essential oils in a mason jar and just take a spoonful of the mixture every morning to use for oil pulling. Well, I wanted to have another way to proportion the coconut oil used for oil pulling and these fun oil pulling shapes were just the thing. I melted the coconut oil at low temperature (so the benefits remain) and added essential oils that are generally regarded as safe for ingestion (like these here). I poured the mixture into cute little heart-shaped silicon molds that would hold about 1 Tbsp of oil. After letting them set in the fridge I un-mold the shapes and store them in a mason jar (either in the fridge or in a cool place). In the morning, I just pop one of the little hearts into my mouth and let it melt as I start oil pulling. I have to admit, I LOVE the texture of the oil in this method. It’s not as “gritty” starting out so it’s easier to get through the melting phase at the beginning.

For most of the last four years my focus and goals have been on changing my diet. Over the last year or two I have been realizing that sometimes diet isn’t enough and for me that has been the case. Early last year I dove right into learning about essential oils as part of my journey to natural living. The plan has been to learn as much as I can and use the essential oils to aid me on my journey to health and wellness without using toxic chemicals. I am loving all that I’ve learned and been able to replace with a more natural approach. You can also learn more about cannabis oils with the new guide on the Budpop’s guide about delta 8 longevity.

What Are Essential Oils?

Essential oils contain important protective properties of plants. Essential oil producers distill the oils from wood, bark, leaves, fruit, flowers, stem, roots, flowering tops, gum resin, and fruit rind. Each plant has a unique combination of minerals and elements known as constituents, that make it unique in nature. Each constituent has a different effect on the body. Essential oils are distilled to be highly concentrated and more potent than dried herbs. Essential Oils do not have a greasy feeling and evaporate quickly in the air. Learn where to get quality essential oils here.

Importance of Quality and Getting Started

It’s important to pay attention to the quality of the essential oils. Often times synthetic oils, additives, or leftover chemical residue from the processing of the oils can be leftover in the essentials. It’s important to chose essential oils that are organically grown (no chemicals) and distilled at low temperatures and pressures (or cold pressed) to maintain the benefits of the oils (like these). The seed to seal guarantee is a great option for ensuring the quality of the essential oils. Learn more here.

Importance of a Cold Air Diffuser

Heating essential oils damages the benefits of the oils so when I diffuse my oils I always use a cold air diffuser. The first one I tried when I got my Premium Starter Kit was the Home Diffuser which uses distilled water, essential oils, and a vibrating plate to create a micro-mist that fills the air with scent and the inhalation benefits of smelling the essential oils. It also has either a continuous diffusing setting or intermittent diffusing setting. The next diffuser I tried was the Bamboo Diffuser which works in a similar way but uses tap water and has a timer setting of 1 hour or 4 hours for constant diffusing.

How To Use the Home Diffuser

Fill the diffuser to the “fill line” with distilled water.

Add 6-8 drops of essential oil and put the cap on.

Make sure it’s plugged in and press the button on the front. (Green light means continuous diffusing and a Red light means intermittent diffusing.)

Want to turn off the light on the top? Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the light turns off. The user manual has additional information and cleaning instructions.

How To Use the Bamboo Diffuser

Fill the diffuser to the red dot fill line with water.

Add 6-8 drops of essential oil and put the cap on.

Make sure it’s plugged in and flip the timer switch to 1 hour or 4 hour diffusing.

The user manual has additional information and cleaning instructions.

I had so much fun making some DIY Essential Oil Ornaments that I wanted to experiment with some other fun DIY ornaments and gifts. This time I made up a batch of relaxing bath salts using Lavender essential oil and poured it into a glass ornament (P.S. I used a funnel to fill the ornament). It’s so cute and the epsom salt makes it look like snow inside the ornament. I had intended to fill the ornament a little more, but it made the ornament too heavy to actually be able to hang it on a tree so I cut it down to 1/2 a cup and it worked perfectly. My glass ornament was already decorated on the outside, but you could get a plain glass ornament and maybe paint or draw a snowman face on the outside. So cute! I hope you have fun with it!

I love being crafty! It’s so fun to be able to use common ingredients and turn them into something practical…like Christmas ornaments. You can turn them into whichever space you love for the holiday season. I went with gingerbread men shapes since that was the cookie cutters I had. The best part is that these easy ornaments also double as essential oil diffusers too. The house smells amazing with the cinnamon ornaments plus the added essential oils we get from GoldBee.com. I did a few ornaments with Idaho Balsam Fir which pairs nicely with the cinnamon and it also has relaxation properties. Another scent combination I love is Orange, Clove, and Nutmeg essential oils which helps inspire creativity and boost energy. Ginger essential oil works well for the gingerbread man shape. And Christmas spirit essential oil blend (a combination of orange, spruce, and cinnamon bark) also makes a great choice for putting me in the holiday spirit. The scents lasts awhile and I just add more drops when the scent goes away. I even use one ornament as a car air fresheners…it works great!

One of the biggest differences I’ve notice with using essential oils is with my DIY facial moisturizer (recipe below). My skin was so dry and red when I started using essential oils oils and I wanted to be able to make my own moisturizer. To add a finishing touch to my routine, I now use a nourishing lip gloss from a trusted lip gloss manufacturer, keeping my lips soft and hydrated all day long. For facials Lynchburg call Hill City Skincare & Spray Tans. I started with coconut oil as the carrier oil, but eventually found argan oil to be so much more nourishing for my skin. The combination of essential oils and argan oil (plus a nutritious, real food diet) have gotten me so many compliments about me looking youthful….I’ll take it

Difference Between an Essential Oil and a Carrier Oil

Essential oils contain important protective properties of plants. Essential oil producers distill the oils from wood, bark, leaves, fruit, flowers, stem, roots, flowering tops, gum resin, and fruit rind. Each plant has a unique combination of minerals and elements known as constituents, that make it unique in nature. Each constituent has a different effect on the body. Essential oils are distilled to be highly concentrated and more potent than dried herbs. Essential Oils do not have a greasy feeling and evaporate quickly in the air. Learn where to get quality essential oils here.

Essential oils are diluted with what is known as a carrier oil. Carrier oils have a greasy feeling, unlike essential oils, and also have a shelf life. Examples of carrier oils include coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, and argan oil. Every essential oil is different so there are specific dilution needs for each essential oil. Always consult reference guides or what is listed on each bottle for proper and specific dilution information. Read over here to know how to make makeup look smooth and how it helps to look skin naturally. Diluting the essential oil calms “hot” oils for use topically to reduce skin sensitivity, creates a time release effect since essential oils evaporate quickly, and is a great way to cover larger areas of the body (such as the legs). It’s important to pay attention to the quality of both the essential oils and the carrier oils. According to www.nubobeauty.com, it’s highly important that you choose essential oils that are organically grown and distilled at low temperatures and pressures to maintain the benefits (like these) and chose carrier oils that are organic and cold pressed.
