Top Ten Recipes from 2012

December 31, 2012 By Karen Sorenson

As I mentioned on the Living Low Carb…One Day at a Time Facebook page, I had my One Year Blogiversary on Friday.  To celebrate this milestone and the New Year I decided to put together a Top Ten Recipes from 2012 list.  The list consists of the most popular recipes as determined by the number of pageviews. It has been a fabulous year and I’ve been so lucky to have the support from all of you to help me continue my low carb journey.  I have grown a lot and learned so much to help my health as well as with my photography and recipe development.  I started this blog because I was passionate about regaining my health and I needed a creative outlet to keep my occupied in my free time.  I’m so grateful to have met some really great people that have the same passion for changing their health for the better.  Here’s to another fabulous year in 2013!

What is your favorite Living Low Carb…One Day at a Time recipe?  I’d love to hear about it in the comments below. 🙂

 Top Ten Recipes from 2012

Pumpkin Bars-Creamy Pumpkin on a chocolate crust

No Bake Almond Butter Bars-The perfect low carb treat and there is no baking involved!

Italian Wedding Soup-A low carb version of the classic soup.  This recipe made the list when I got some Link Love from Mark’s Daily Apple.

“Apple” Crisp-The perfect low carb substitute for the classic Apple Pie

Pecan Pie-It’s not the holidays without Pecan Pie.  I finally made a Pecan Pie recipe that my fiancé loves!

“Potato” Skins-This year I experimented with different ways to replace potatoes.

Chocolate Dipped Almond Butter Cookies-These cookies are easy to make when you need to satisfy your sweet tooth fast.

Homemade Dill Pickles-A great way to use up all of those cucumbers from your garden.

Coconut Lime Chicken-This year I learned about my new favorite ingredient…Coconut Aminos.  The Coconut Aminos pairs perfectly with fresh lime juice.

Strawberry Ice Cream-I received an ice cream maker for my birthday, but this easy ice cream can be made without an ice cream maker.

 Enjoy! Happy New Year!
