There are several ingredients that are classic low carb and paleo ingredients that most people use all the time.  It’s always nice to have some tips and tricks up your sleeve to be able to handle these ingredients quickly and easily.  Today I am sharing 10 of the best low carb and paleo kitchen tips to help you spend less time in the kitchen and more time with your friends and family.

Cook Perfect Bacon

Bacon is a popular breakfast choice, but why not stop waiting for it to cook on the stove each morning by making it ahead of time.  Cooking bacon in the oven allows you to cook large batches of bacon at one time.  Plus it comes out perfectly every time!  Learn how to cook bacon in the oven here.

Remove the Pit of an Avocado

Avocado is a healthy fat option that’s great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  It’s a great addition to eggs, a substitute for mayo in chicken salad, and adds creaminess to taco salads.  Easily remove the pit by, slicing the avocado in half lengthwise. Strike the pit with the blade of a large knife and twist. The pit will pop right out leaving the avocado “meat”.

Remove Egg Shell Pieces

Have you ever gotten pieces of egg shells in your eggs and spent time trying to fish them out?  Here’s an easy way to get those egg shell pieces out.  Take another piece of the egg shell and place it near the egg shell pieces. The egg shell attracts the pieces and they will stick easily. No need to fish through your eggs for pieces anymore!
