5 Ways to Use Peace & Calming Essential Oil Blend + a Giveaway

August 18, 2014 By Karen Sorenson

It’s been months since I started using my Premium Starter Kit and a few of the oils instantly became my favorites.  The Young Living Peace & Calming Essential Oil blend is definitely a great everyday oil.  I use Peace & Calming to help relax after a stress work day and to help get a good nights sleep.

Everyday Essential Oils

I started with the Young Living premium starter kit because it was the best value and it would give me a chance to experience some of the most common essential oils.   Along with the diffuser, the premium starter kit includes the basic ten everyday essential oils: Thieves, Joy, Valor, Purification, Lemon, PanAway, Frankincense, Peppermint, Peace & Calming and Lavender.

I have been using my Essential Oils Pocket Reference to learn all of the different ways to use the Everyday Essential Oils.  The EOPR happens to be my free gift to those that become a wholesale member with a Premium Starter Kit (Learn more here).

Peace & Calming promotes relaxation and deep sense of peace and emotional well-being, helping to dampen tensions and uplift spirits.  When massaged on the bottoms of the feet it can help with a peaceful night’s rest. (Source)

Ways to Use Peace & Calming Essential Oil

  • Sleep:  Ahhh sleep!  So important!  Whenever I’m feeling over energized at night I diffuse Peace & Calming about an hour before bed to help me relax.
  • Relaxing Bath: A great way for me to relax is to make some homemade Peace & Calming Bath Salts.  I mix 1/2 cup epsom salts, 1/2 Tbsp baking soda, and 5 drops of Peace & Calming to make a relaxing bath salt blend.  I add the mixture to my warm bath.
  • Relaxing Massage:  A few drops of Peace & Calming with some coconut oil makes a great massage oil.
  • Wound Up Children:  I don’t personally have kids yet, but my friends definitely love to diffuse the Peace & Calming blend to help calm their wound up children.
  • Calming Jaw: A friend of mine had issues with an overactive jaw at night.  She diffuses Peace & Calming in her Home Diffuser at night to help calm her jaw at night. The Home Diffuser comes in the Premium Starter Kit, which is how I got started with essential oils.

Because I love Peace & Calming Essential Oil so much I decided to giveaway a 5 mL bottle.  The good news about essential oils is that a little goes a long way (1-2 drops per application) so the bottles can last quite a while. Due to the cost for me to ship the prize, the Young Living Peace & Calming Essential Oil giveaway will be limited to U.S. residents only.  Young Living does ship to certain countries outside of the United States so if you would like to try using essential oils consider becoming a distributor/wholesale member.  Giveaway ends August 22, 2014 at 12:00 AM ET.
