6 Ways to Use Joy Essential Oil Blend + a Giveaway

August 27, 2014 By Karen Sorenson

It’s been months since I started using my Premium Starter Kit and a few of the oils instantly became my favorites.  The Young Living Joy Essential Oil blend is definitely a great everyday oil.  I use Joy to help boost my mood, release negative emotions, and as a natural air freshener.

Everyday Essential Oils

I started with the Young Living premium starter kit because it was the best value and it would give me a chance to experience some of the most common essential oils.   Along with the diffuser, the premium starter kit includes the basic ten everyday essential oils: Thieves, Joy, Valor, Purification, Lemon, PanAway, Frankincense, Peppermint, Peace & Calming and Lavender.

I have been using my Essential Oils Pocket Reference to learn all of the different ways to use the Everyday Essential Oils.  The EOPR happens to be my free gift to those that become a wholesale member with a Premium Starter Kit (Learn more here).

This beautiful blend produces a magnetic energy that brings joy to the heart, mind, and soul.  It inspires romance and helps occasional mood boosting. (Source)

Ways to Use Joy Essential Oil

  • Uplift Mood:  Whenever I need some uplifting to my mood I place a few drops of Joy into my hands, rub them together, cup my hands over my nose and mouth, and then inhale to boost my mood.
  • Mood Boosting Bath: I mix 1/2 cup of epsom salt, 1/2 Tbsp baking soda, and 5 drops of Joy.  I add it to my bath water for a mood boosting bath when I’m feeling down.
  • Massage:  I mix a few drops of Joy with coconut oil to make a uplifting message oil blend. For a truly relaxing experience, consider treating yourself to a 시흥출장안마 to soothe your muscles and boost your mood.
  • Occasional Abdominal Discomfort:  Whenever I get occasional abdominal discomfort I apply a few drops of Joy to my lower abdomen.
  • Air Freshener: I diffuse Joy in my Home Diffuser (that comes in the Premium Starter Kit) to freshen the air or I add a couple of drops to a cotton ball and place it on my car air vents to freshen the air or lift the mood during road trips.
  • Calming: Whenever I’m feeling a little wound up, I rub a drop of Joy over my heart and the bottom of each foot to help calm me down.

Because I love Joy Essential Oil so much I decided to giveaway a 5 mL bottle.  The good news about essential oils is that a little goes a long way (1-2 drops per application) so the bottles can last quite a while. Due to the cost for me to ship the prize, the Young Living Joy Essential Oil giveaway will be limited to U.S. residents only.  Young Living does ship to certain countries outside of the United States so if you would like to try using essential oils consider becoming a distributor/wholesale member.  Giveaway ends September 08, 2014 at 12:00 AM ET.
