No Bake Mixed Berry Crumble (Paleo and Low Carb)
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1-2 Tbsp coconut sugar or Swerve for low carb
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp butter or coconut oil
- 20 oz. frozen mixed berries
- 1/4 cup water
- (Optional) 2 Tbsp coconut sugar or Swerve, to taste

Instructions
- Place the pecans in a mini processor or food processor and pulse 2-3 times to roughly chop.
- Add the sliced almonds, coconut sugar, and cinnamon. Pulse 3-4 times until a crumble texture is created.
- Place the mixture in a skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and cook for about 5 minutes or until toasted, stirring frequently.
- Set the mixture to the side and allow to cool.
- In a large saucepan, add the mixed berries, water, and sweetener, if using over medium-high heat. Allow the berries to defrost and bring the mixture up to a boil (takes about 5 minutes).
- Boil the mixture for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes before assembling.
- Spoon the mixed berry filling into 4 individual serving bowls or dished and top with some of the crumble mixture.
