Last night’s cooking adventure was Low Carb Garlic Parmesan Encrusted Tilapia. For the crust, I mixed together the following ingredients:
1/2 cup of pork rind crumbs
2 tsp of garlic powder
1/4 cup of grated or shredded parmesan cheese
This recipe also uses the following ingredient:
2 tilapia filets
Note: There will be enough coating to crust 3-4 pieces of tilapia
Heat 1-2 tbsp of oil in a skillet over medium to medium-high heat. Pat the tilapia dry and season (on both sides) with salt and pepper. Place the tilapia filet in the crumb mixture and coat on one side. Place the coated tilapia in the heated skillet (breading side down first) and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the tilapia reaches 140 F.

Comments: The crust had really great flavor and gave the tilapia some texture. I only breaded one side, but it would delicious with both sides breaded. I served mine with sauteed zucchini and mushrooms.This content will be shown after all post
